Entry
Gates open at 5.30pm. Entry and exit will be through the visitor centre.
Please have your tickets printed for entry.
Food and Beverage
There will be a bar and hot food available. Note that vendors are cash only. There is no atm/cashback facility on site.
We ask that attendees do not bring alcohol in with them.
Weather
This is an outdoor festival so please dress appropriately for the Irish weather.
Seating
This is not a seated event. Please do bring along a picnic blanket or fold out chairs.
Public heath guidelines
Please adhere to social distancing guidelines. Please wear a mask in all indoor areas, when using toilets and when queuing for refreshments. There will be hand sanitising stations around the grounds but please do feel free to bring your own also.
We hope that you enjoy the evening’s entertainment. This is the first live performance for many of the acts in over a year and a half and we are delighted to welcome them and you to this very special event.
A new outdoor Arts Festival will take place here at Johnstown Castle on Saturday 7th August, including a variety of unique outdoor performances offering its audience an array of art forms and signals the return to major live outdoor performances. Singer and actress Camille O’Sullivan headlines this stellar line-up which also features an artistic tour-de-force of experienced artists and emerging talent of actors, musicians, writers, dancers, and performance artists. Award-winning broadcaster Alan Corcoran will MC the evening. West-End performers, Aileen Donohoe and Peter McCamley, who reside near Johnstown Castle, are producing this inaugural, bespoke festival and have assembled an eclectic artistic programme.
