Family Cemetery Open
February 20
The Johnstown Castle Estate family cemetery will be open on Thursday, February 20th, to honour the anniversaries of Kathleen Lakin and Gerald Michael Lakin’s deaths.
Kathleen Lakin died February 23rd 1930 aged 37 from a horse riding accident. Gerald Michael Lakin died 20th February 1943 aged 27 during WW2 and is buried in Tunisia.
Cemetery Details
For those wishing to visit their graves or honour their memory, the cemetery where Gerald and Kathleen are buried is open at specific hours:
- Morning hours: 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM
- Afternoon hours: 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM
Entry is free for valid IHT membership holders and included in daily admission for visitors.
