Johnstown Castle Estate, Museum & Gardens is cared for by the Irish Heritage Trust.
The Trust is an independent, non-profit organisation committed to protecting, conserving and sharing special heritage places. Membership is a wonderful way to support Irish heritage conservation, and make the most of the wonderful houses, gardens and museums in the care of the Trust, including the Irish Agricultural Museum here at Johnstown Castle.

- Includes access to the estates 120 acres of parklands, walking trails, and woodland playground.
- 20% discount on admissions for friends and family when accompanying the membership holder.
- Unlimited access to our sister properties, Fota House, Arboretum & Gardens in Cork and Strokestown Park and the National Famine Museum!
- Discounted and free events across all Trust properties, including family events at Easter, Halloween and Christmas.

Please note that memberships are non-transferable and membership cards can only be used by the person/family named on the card.
Membership of Many Lifetimes
For as little as 1 euro per week, you can support Irish heritage conservation at the wonderful houses, gardens, and museums in the care of the Trust. In return you get year-round access to Johnstown Castle Estate, Fota House & Gardens in Cork, and Strokestown Park House in Roscommon.
