The Artisan Craft Fair is back with a Christmas Market!
On Tuesday, 9th December join us for an evening of festive shopping indoors at the Johnstown Castle Visitor Centre, complete with seasonal drinks and sweet treats.
Discover unique, handcrafted gifts from talented local crafters and soak up the Christmas spirit in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

We are open daily from 9am – 4.30pm.
Last entry for members is 4pm & 3.30pm for day visitors.

PRE-BOOKING OF CASTLE TOURS IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED – Please note the castle is closed from Monday 17th – Friday 21st November to allow for Christmas Decoration. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
** Please note that the Famine exhibition in the Irish Agricultural Museum is undergoing a redesign and the newly curated ‘Changing Farming Fortunes’ exhibition will open in its place in the coming months.**
