Jazz at Johnstown Festival

The annual Jazz at Johnstown three day festival at Johnstown Castle is on June 28, 29 and 30. Among the fifteen acts taking part across Friday and Saturday nights (8 p.m. to 10 p.m.) and all day Saturday and Sunday (Noon to 5 p.m.) are Pogo Bear with Conor O’Brien, The Luisa Annibali Trio (pictured), the Gustavo de Morais Trio, the Killian Browne Trio, the Johnny Taylor Trio, the Kevin Lawlor Quartet, the Chris Colloton Trio, the Scott Flanigan Trio, the Summer Song Trio (with Carole Nelson, Mel O’Reilly and Dave Mooney) and many, many more.
Tickets are currently on sale for the Saturday night performance by Kevin Lawlor with Joseph Leighton, Dave Jones and Peter Vogelaar.
Tickets for the Friday night performance by Johnny Taylor, Dominic Mullan and Barry Donohoe will go on sale soon.
Admission to the day programmes is free to members of the Irish Heritage Trust – otherwise access is included in the daily entry fee.
