Judith Tutin is back to host an amazing Printmaking Workshop on Friday 27th October from 10am – 4pm.
Explore the stunning Neo-Gothic architecture of Johnstown Castle through an extensive full day workshop. The workshop will consist of drawing, printmaking and responding to the stunning interior of the Johnstown Castle Ballroom.
The workshop will be proceeded by a short tour bringing each participant on guided experience of the castles elegant interior and to explore the response to stunning environment as a way of finding inspiration.
Following the tour, use your newly found inspiration to draw as well as use design techniques, traditional lino cutting, printing and even a chance to try the more abstract gelli-plate printing. **All materials provided**
Judith Tutin is a Wexford-born artist, based in Cornwall, UK. Judith has 20+ years teaching experience and specialises in printmaking and abstract painting. Her popular Cyanotype workshops take place every summer in the gardens of Johnstown Castle. Judith is returning to Wexford for the Opera Festival Fringe, where she will be exhibiting her religious abstract paintings at the Franciscan Friary as well as sharing her love of architecture and art history through this printing workshop.
