From Monday January 9th 2023, Wexford Bus is making significant changes to the Wexford to Kilmore Quay, 390 Route. The service will be more frequent, operating up to 6 times daily in each direction, and will have an improved route operating via Johnstown Castle and Piercestown village.
We are delighted to a part of the updated Wexford Bus 390 route that will mean Johnstown Castle will be serviced up to 6 times daily, Monday – Saturday. This will make it so much easier for all those visiting and allow more people to enjoy our beautiful gardens.
The first service of the day will depart from Wexford Redmond Square at 07:00 and the last service will depart at 17:35. Services from Kilmore Quay will run from 07:35 with the last one leaving the quay at 18.30. With a choice of 6 services in each direction throughout the day, and a range of promotional fares to encourage passengers to try out the service, travelling by bus will be more attractive than ever.
Brendan Crowley, Managing Director, Wexford Bus – “We are delighted that the accessibility of some of Wexford’s key tourist attractions including Kilmore Quay and Johnstown Castle will be improved and we look forward to welcoming a greater number of tourists and locals on board. This new improved timetable is a very welcome start to what promises to be an exciting year ahead.” Concluded Brendan.
