Visit Santa at Johnstown Castle in Wexford

This festive season, we invite you to be part of an extra special Christmas in Wexford at our Enchanted Christmas at Johnstown Castle.  Enjoy the very best seasonal activities and Santa experience with our team of merry elves at our fairy-tale castle.

Your family group will enjoy a very special visit with Santa Claus who’s coming to stay right here at Johnstown Castle. On this traditional experience, all of Santa’s visitors will enjoy festive activities with our crew of merry elves inside the fairytale castle. Each group will enjoy time with Santa individually. The children will join Santa’s elves in the magical elves workshop and get the chance to choose their very own Christmas gift in the stunning ballroom.

IMPORTANT: Your booking time is your time slot to start your experience, NOT your check in time. Arrive 15 minutes before your allocated time to check in and allow for use of facilities and to walk to the castle (5 – 10-minute walk from both carparks). Your booked time is the time you start your experience. Please note that if you slot is after 4.15pm you will be parking in our overflow carpark, which will be clearly signposted. If your time is at or prior to 4:15pm, you will be parking in our main carpark at the visitor centre. This Car Park is about a 5 minute walk from the Johnstown Castle and the location of the starting point, so please allow for this.

You will make your way over to the castle on foot so please ensure appropriate outerwear.

The experience was just magical. It truly was an enchanted Christmas experience. My 3 year old daughter was in awe of the joyful Christmas experience at Johnstown Castle. In was my first time in the Castle and it felt like stepping back in time at Christmas. The level of detail was amazing, to the Christmas tree and the set up of the Christmas table. I felt like a child gazing at everything. My daughter enjoyed meeting Santa. Her eyes lit up when she saw the toys in the Elves work shop. She was delighted with her present. Great idea to let the children pick their gift.

Enchanted Christmas Details
Your Enchanted Christmas experience will feature a story and interactive elements shared with your tour group.
Each family will then visit Santa individually. There will be an official photograph available through a third-party supplier. The cost per photograph in a printed souvenir folder will be €12.50. Discounts available if more than one is purchased. If you do not wish to avail of an official photograph you are more than welcome to take your own photographs during your visit. Next comes your chance to visit the magical Elves’ Workshop to choose your gift.

Note: Annual membership holders are entitled to a 10% discount. If you have not received the discount code by email, please contact reception.
Do not book without the code as the code cannot be applied after purchase.
A booking fee of €1.95 will be added to each booking.

In the booking process, Santa will require the following information:
• Child’s name.
• Child’s age at time of visit, not at the time of booking.
