Meet Santa in a Magical Setting

Bring your family together for a special visit with Santa Claus, who will be making his magical home right here at Johnstown Castle. This traditional experience allows each family group to enjoy private time with Santa, ensuring a personal and memorable encounter. Children will embark on a delightful adventure in Santa’s Elves Workshop, where they can choose their very own Christmas gift from our stunning ballroom.

Plan Your Visit 

Please note that your booking time is your starting time for the experience, not your check-in time. We recommend arriving 15 minutes early to check in, enjoy the facilities, and take a scenic 5-10 minute stroll to the castle. If your slot is after 4:15 PM, you will park in our overflow car park, clearly signposted for your convenience. For earlier slots, parking is available at the main car park, just a short walk from the castle entrance.

Pre-booking is essential, and annual members receive a 10% discount—just contact our reception if you haven’t received your discount code. Booking fees of €1.95 apply to each reservation.

*Photographs cost €12.50 with discounts for multiple photographs

When booking, Santa will need:
