Join us at our Autumn Fête on October 1st , the event where age will become irrelevant. We invite families, friends, and companions to Johnstown Castles’ Autumn Fête for an afternoon of follies and fun for young and old.
Entry to this event is free for members of Johnstown Castle and included in daily admission for day visitors.
The Autumn Fête will bring together activities for young and old to enjoy.
Events on the day include a Wildlife Walk around the estate with wildlife expert Harm Deenen as well as Music with Jamie Benson in the Museum courtyard and a Reenactment with The Great Irish War Society at the Castle – A short talk on the origins of Irish Agricultural Museum – Museum Trail – Family Garden Trail – Open House Tours of Johnstown Castle – Vintage Car Display – Croquet on the Lawn – Yoga, Meditation and Qi Gong – and much more from lawn games to live music, all shared in our unique heritage site.
We will also have a Vox Pop area for people who have visited Johnstown Castle Estate, Museum and Gardens over the decades and have stories to tell of the estates past history.
We will also celebrate companionship, Positive Aging Week 2023 plus the United Nations International Day of Older Persons so come along and enjoy fun activities that are guaranteed to build bonds between young and old.
