Geoff Stebbings is an experienced horticulturist who trained at the world-renowned Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. He has worked with the Royal Horticultural Society and served as a head gardener. Now based near Enniscorthy, he is creating his own garden while continuing to write for top gardening publications and give talks both in the UK and here in Ireland.

11:45 – 12:15 Michael White will talk about his plant highlights from his time as Mount Congreve Garden Curator.

12:30 – 13:30 Mary Reynolds will give a talk titled : ‘Restoring the earth patch by patch.’

Mary is an international landscape designer who launched her career by achieving a gold medal for garden design at the Chelsea flower show in London in 2002, the story of which was made into a 2016 movie called “Dare to be Wild”. Bestselling author of ‘The Garden Awakening”, and “We are the ARK “. She is an occasional television presenter and the founder of the global movement “We are the ARK”. Writer of the wildlife gardening column in the RTE guide, Irelands largest selling weekly magazine.

She’s not the worst cook and she likes to campaign against evil corporate/political efforts to cull us all off with pesticides, herbicides, GMO’s and all sorts of greenwashing. Her aim in life is to restore the Earth’s native plant and creature communities, her clothing of choice, and remind people that our role here on this beautiful home of ours is one of guardian, not gardener.
