Soil Health Week 2026

Join us at the Irish Agricultural Museum on Friday 25 September at 11am for a fun, hands-on workshop with Teagasc soil scientists as part of Soil Health Week 2026.
Learn more about the soils beneath our feet, why healthy soil is so important for food production and the environment, and discover some simple ways to assess soil health. You’ll also get the chance to explore how mapping resources can be used to identify the soils in your local area.
This is a relaxed, interactive event and is suitable for all ages.

The workshop is free for Irish Heritage Trust Members and is included with daily admission for all other visitors. No booking is required.
